Adult Music

The Wesleyan Choir performs a wide variety of repertoire in worship leadership ranging from classical to Gospel to major choral works.

Rehearsals are Wed. 7:30 – 9 pm.

Several ensembles are available to adults:

Assurance (ladies trio) * Men’s Double Quartet * SATB Mixed Quartet *

Women’s Ensemble * Men’s Ensemble

 

Youth Music & Worship Arts

Reflections is the youth choir for grades 7-12. They rehearse from 4-5 pm on Sundays.

Youth Drama is a way for youth to mission and help lead in worship.

Youth Praise Band plays for worship during A.U.M.Y. on Sunday evenings and at minister and outreach events. They practice on Wednesday afternoons. Joseph Farrar at 707-7099 is director of this ministry. Auditions required.

 

Children’s Music Sunday afternoons resound with music for 4 year olds — sixth grade! Our young singers enjoy choirs filled with singing, theory, Orff instruments, choir chimes and handbells. They participate regularly in worship. Sundays from 5-6 pm.

            C.O.O.L. (Christ, Our Only Light) – fifth & sixth graders

           

Handbell Music

Youth & Adults: Hand bells  rehearse on Wednesday from 6-7 pm

Morning Bells rehearse on Wednesdays from 9:00– 10:30 am          

Children's Bells & Hand chimes rehearse on Sundays as part of their choir time

 

Praise Band

Crosswalk is Aldersgate’s praise band that plays each Sunday at the 9:30 worship  service. They rehearse Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 9 pm. Auditions required.

 

Orchestra

Rehearsals are TBA.

 

Special Music

There are multiple opportunities for soloists (vocal or instrumental) or ensembles to provide special music in the 8:15 and 11:00 worship services.  Please contact Joseph if you are interested.
