The men of Aldersgate United Methodist Men's Club pledge to be more than the "men in the church". We pledge to be the "MEN OF THE CHURCH", whose walk with Christ can be a light that shines both within the walls of our church, and into the community and world we live. We choose to become leaders, by being FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST first, and by following these tenants:

• To Know Christ and Make Him Known
• To Make Christ The Center Of Our Lives, In Our Homes, Our Church and Our Community, Always Striving To Be Better Husbands, Better Fathers, Better Sons And Better Friends, Giving All The Credit To Christ Who Strengthens Us
• To Serve Our Church With Our Hearts, Being Ever Mindful of The Needs of The Members of Our Own Families, Our Church Family and Our Community
• To Serve Our Church With Our Minds, Using Our God-given Creativity, To Think Pure Thoughts, To Read and Study Holy Scripture
• To Serve Our Church With Our Spirit, Being Constantly In Prayer for Our Brothers In Christ, and For All Those Around Us For Whom God Gives Us Conscious Thought. And To Be A Regular and Active Part of Aldersgate Worship Letting Our Very Presence Be A Visible Sign Of Our Faith
• To Serve Our Church With Our Labor, Going About Attending To The Earthly Needs of Our Church Family and Community, Participating in Planning and Doing The Works Service Projects Our Men's Club Sets In Our Path
• To Be A Regular and Loyal Participant In The Gatherings and Doings of This Men's Club, Attending Meetings, Joining In Projects, Keeping Our Brothers In Prayer, Being Accountable To One Another
• To See Our Service As "The Joy Of Christ", Preserving A Time For Fun As A Regular Part Of Our Men's Club Fellowship
