Youth Sunday Activities
Sunday School: 9:45
Every Sunday morning, from 9:45-10:45am, our youth meet together in Genesis Hall for a time of fellowship and sharing. Sunday School engages the students in conversations about the issues that shape the world around them and how they identify with the stories of faith found in scripture.
Nameless is the name of AUMY’s Youth praise band. Nameless practice is on Sunday at 2:30-4:00pm. All youth are welcome to come be part of Nameless and share your musical talents.
Youth Choir: 4:00pm
Reflections Bells: 4:45pm
Our Reflections Choir and Reflections Bell Choir gather as part of our Sunday night youth activities during each school year, in addition to learning music we learn about sharing our faith through making music. We participate often in morning worship services and also as part of Sunday night youth worship, and other special church events.
AUMY Big Group: 5:30pm
Our weekly Sunday Night AUMY Big Group features a diverse mix of meaningful activities for youth. We spend time every Sunday night., in fellowship over a meal, learning how to share ourselves with each other through our gifts and stories. We sing and worship together, learning how to articulate our faith.
Mid-week Small Groups
On Wednesday night AUMY has an open group for Senior High and Junior High that meets 6:00-7:30pm. This meeting is a great way for students to come together in the midst of chaotic schedules and uncertain futures. We unwind with each other in times of fun and group discussions.
Summer Mission Opportunities
Our annual summer youth mission trips are great opportunities for youth to answer God’s calling of service in our world. Both Junior High and Senior High Youth students raise funds all year long for the opportunity to serve hands-on in another part of the country. We journey to many places, seek to understand what God might be doing there, and strive to share Christ through love and service wherever we find ourselves.
8:30am - Traditional Worship
