Apple Tree Preschool

Apple Tree Preschool and Mother’s Day Out is a ministry of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. The preschool is offered to children ranging from Young 3’s to 5 years of age, with the cut-off date that follows the public school system (September 30th). We have a wide range of programs offered: Part-time programs are offered on Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings from 8:45am-11:45am; All day prgrams are offered on Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:45am-2:45pm; Our full-time program is offered five days per week with early and late care options available. Our maximum hours are 7:00am-6:00pm.

Note: All preschool children must be completely potty-trained.

Apple Tree Preschool

Our preschool program is a Christian based program. Apple Tree starts with the Young 3’s curriculum and advances through the 4’s, well preparing our students for kindergarten. The Young 3’s and 3’s programs are socialization based programs: learning to take turns, following simple directions. We introduce the letters, shapes, colors, scissor skills, and gluing skills. The 4’s and Prek have a more structured academic program. Each class has guidelines to follow, but the variety of each class depends on each teacher’s individual personality. Remember, at this age we learn through play!

We have a wide range of activities, special days, and parties. We have chapel day once a week where we listen to stories and sing songs about Jesus. We celebrate all of the holidays and what a busy schedule we keep! All these activities combined adds greatly to the preschool experience. Some of our special activities include our Fall Festival, Thanksgiving Feasts, Christmas Programs, Apple Tree Olympics, and the end of the year Ice Cream Parties. These are just a few of the things that make Apple Tree special. Most of our activities take place during school hours.

Little Lambs – (Mother’s Day Out)

Little Lambs is offered to children eighteen (18) months to two (2) years of age. This program is a play day for the children with the focus on a warm and loving environment. Children will enjoy indoor and outdoor playtime, as well as crafts, stories, songs and more. Our Toddler Class (18-24 months) and our Two Year Old Class (must be 2 by September 30) both offer 3 options to choose from: Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8:45am-11:45am; Tuesdays/Thursdays from 8:45 am – 2:45 pm (with extended care available on MWF until 2:45pm); Or a combination of both for M-F.

Note: Early & Late Care is available for Little Lambs 7:00am – 6:00pm.
